treatment vary depending on your age, whether you have other medical conditions and the
dose of radioactive iodine you have. Some people may have one or more side effects. Write possible short and long term side effects of radiotherapy iodine.
2. The following guideline is one of the precautions to take following a treatment with I-
131. Discuss.
You must be sure you are not pregnant before
receiving I-131.
3. If you are
breast-feeding, you must stop several days before to ensure that milk
production has stopped. Explain briefly what happen if this precaution is disregard.
